The Dark Divine by Bree Despain

A prodigal son
A dangerous love
A deadly secret . . .I stood back and watched his movements. Daniel had that way about him that could shut me down in an instant. . . . I kicked the gravel a couple of times and worked up my courage again. “Tell me . . . I mean . . . why did you come back? Why now, after all this time?”
Grace Divine, daughter of the local pastor, always knew something terrible happened the night Daniel Kalbi disappeared—the night she found her brother Jude collapsed on the porch, covered in blood. But she has no idea what a truly monstrous secret that night really held. And when Daniel returns three years later, Grace can no longer deny her attraction to him, despite promising Jude she’ll stay away.
As Grace gets closer to Daniel, her actions stir the ancient evil Daniel unleashed that horrific night. Grace must discover the truth behind Jude and Daniel's dark secret . . . and the cure that can save the ones she loves. But she may have to lay down the ultimate sacrifice to do it—her soul.

My Blog Is One Year's Old

When I started this blog I didn't know what to expect. I was one day and I had seen another blog I watched for a while (The Book Reader) and decided I could do that. I learned blogging is hard and I am not the best at it but oh well. I am not very good at reviews and posting but I do enjoy blogging and looking at the other good blogs.

Defying The Diva by D. Anne Love

For Haley Peterson her freshman year is fun with two best friends and the only freshman on the newspaper. But when she reveals a little too much everyone in the school is aganiest her and her two best friends leave her.
For the summer she works at a resort where everything begins to change. But along with the job there is some heartbreak and new friends.
I loved this book. It is being strong for who you are and not letting others get to you. Haley really struggles the end of her freshman year to bullies. People can definatly relate to bullies. The ook is very refreshing and has ups and downs to it that make up a really good book.
Haley is a great main character she has many emotions and they all aresomething you have been through before.
The boys in the story are good too. I liked one a little better because Evan had the girls chasing after him.
The plot I loved because bullies are around now and everyone seems to know one. Haley had to learn to accept the change in her life and keep going on with life.

Demon Pricess:Reign Or Shine by Michelle Rowen

As if moving away from your home and trying to fit into a new home isn't enough. Nikki finds out that her long lost father is theking of the Shadowlands and he next heir. She is also a Darklingwhich is half human and half emon. She meets Michael and starts to grow some feelings for him.
( sorry that is not the best that is my own shortened summary)
Review: I thought to begin this book was going to bad and just a typical book. It totally wasn't I actually enjoyed the book.
Nikki was a great main character and kinda leads a life where her father is gone and her mother keeps getting remarried and has to move across the country. She was a tpyical girl falling in love and having friends. She seemed off a little in some way I don't know. Michael sounded like a typical forbbin love.
The plot was pretty good where Nikki finds out she is a demon princess and must become queen because her father is dying. Elizabeth is ruining her life and everyone ios telling Nikki to drink the potion so she forgets everything. The plot was kinda weird though I got lost a few times and forgot if I had read some thing.
Overall it as a good first book in a series and I will most likely read the next one.
