100 Books Read This Year!!!!

Yes I have read a hundred books this year. I know if you read my list of books I have this year it says 120 but I am just excited to read 100.
At the end of last year I had decided I wanted to count the number of books I read this year. I then fell in love with some blogs (the first blog was The Book Reader) (Which I found in October on a google search for books to read) (she was the main rason I decided to start blogging). And decided to create my own on I think January 20 or around that time. I then thought I should keep track on there. At first it was 100 but then I saw The Book Reader again and saw hers was 120 and changed mine to that.
I never thought I could read 120 in a year but I guess I can. And next year will definetly push myself to over 200.
Question?????? : Would it be wierd to change my list to like 200 or 175 this late in the year.
And my goal like 3 months was to get 100 by July 2nd (halfway through the year) and I was so upset (not really) whenI had read 98.
I like to also know how many book I have read each month if you noticed that you see many colors on my list.

Yay 25 Followers

Well I can't have a contest. But I want to thank all my followers. I know I am not the best with frequent posts. But I love my blog and wish I had more time to do things. I also wish I had more money to host a contest.

It took me almost 7 months to get 25 followers. And I am just wondering how long it will take to get to 100.

Thanks for following me and hopefully sometime I will be able to have time to post all the things I want to.

Evermore by Alyson Noel

Thanks Serena Robar for your giving it away thing all June where I won this.

I have already read this but I finally got my own copy.

Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people’s thoughts, and know a person’s life story by touch. Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste…
Ever sees Damen and feels an instant recognition. He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets. Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she’s thinking—and he’s the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head. She doesn’t know who he really is—or what he is. Damen equal parts light and darkness, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies.

And last week I got some non book stuff but they go along with Twilight. I got some Essence Of Twilight things. This was a contest win so I didn't actually buy them. They are supposed to smell like the character. I got Edward, Bella, Alice, Renesme, and Jacob and Promise which is the wedding scent. They all smell good except Jacob it smells like sunscreen. I some of the thing like I got Alice in a spray and Edward in Lip Balm and Lotion (the lip balm smells bad).

Here are the websites if you want to check them out.

Happy Half Way Through The Year

Yep that's today. You might be thinking right now that this year has gone by really fast. I feel like I have so much I want to do this year and haven't really accomplished much of it yet. But I have read I think 96 or 97 books so far. And my goal at the beggining of the year was 100 but I later changed it to 120. I am pretty sure I will make it to 120. Can't think of much else to say.

Oh I just remembered Happy Birthday Kelly. I know you won't read this blog cause you don't read book but Happy Brthday. She has been one of best friends for a long time but we aren't as close since we used to go to different schools. But yeah now we are in the same school. Yeah for High School.

Death By Series By Linda Gerber (Review)

Death By Bikini

A day at the beach can be murder… Aphra Behn Connolly has the type of life most teenage girls envy. She lives on a remote tropical island and spends most of her time eavesdropping on the rich and famous. The problem is that her family's secluded luxury resort allows few opportunities for her to make friends—much less to meet cute boys. So when a smoldering Seth Mulo turns up with his parents, she's immediately drawn to him. Sure, he's a little bit guarded, and sure his parents are rather cold, and okay he won't say a word about his past, but their chemistry is undeniable. Then a famous rock star's girlfriend turns up dead on the beach—strangled by her own bikini top—and alarm bells sound. What exactly are Seth and his family hiding? And is it too great a coincidence that they turned up just one day before a murder? As Aphra digs into the mystery, she discovers that Seth and his family are in hiding from a dangerous terrorist organization. And, what's more, her mother—whom she hadn't heard from in years—might be involved. As the plot thickens, Aphra finds that danger lurks behind even the most unexpected of faces. . . .

This was super good I don't remember much because I read a week ago and I have read like 10 books since then. But I really love Aphra she is a really good main character and I thought Seth was great to. I can't say to much or it ruins the whole book. But I would read this book. It was really good and the plot was very entertaining and fast paced especially at the last 75ish pages.

Death By Latte

It was only a few weeks ago that Aphra Connolly's life changed completely. She had been living a quiet existence on her father's secluded island resort, until Seth Mulo turned up and stole her heart . . . and provided information that led her to find her mom in Seattle. But the reunion isn't quite what she expected. Aphra's mom, Natalie, doesn't seem happy to see Aphra, and Natalie's boyfriend, Joe, insists that Aphra go home. Even worse, Seth shows up, only to ask her to return the ring he gave her the previous summer. At least Natalie's hunky neighbor is sympathetic. But when Joe is found dead at a nearby coffee shop, Aphra discovers her whole trip to Seattle has been based on a lie. And now someone just might be trying to kill her. . . .

This one wasn't as good as the first one in the beginning but I really liked the ending I think it was almost better. We learn even more about Aphra ans Seth and what kind person Natalie is and her background. There is a lot of mystery and a lot twists and turns and people who don't seem like who they really are.

Death By Denim
Even though Aphra Connolly knows there are some very dangerous people on their tail when she met her mom, Natalie, in Paris, she envisioned the two of them strolling along the Champs-Elysées, sharing Nutella-smeared crepes and mother-daughter bonding. But the only strolling they’ve been doing is from one cheap hostel to another, and the “moments” they share consist of Natalie instructing Aphra on the finer points of anonymity and survival. When Natalie’s CIA contact in Paris is found floating in the Seine with a deadly message stuffed into his mouth, Aphra realizes that, like Seth Mulo and his family, she will never be able to stop running unless she confronts the situation head-on. Sneaking away from her mom and her CIA protector Ryan, Aphra tracks down a criminal mastermind in Italy, only to discover that Seth had the same idea, and her presence may have just put Seth in mortal danger...

This I think was the best in the series so far don't know if there will be anymore. But the plot was the best and got going the fastest and hooked me the fastest too. This definitely had the best ending and turn of events. I can't say much because I might reveal too much

So I know these aren't the best of reviews but Ii had to do this fast and I didn't want a really long post.

But these are a really good and you should really read them.

In My Mailbox (7)

This was a slow week for me but I still got a book.

Thanks Kristi for this Idea of IMM.

The one book I got was:

The Real Real by Emma Mclaughlin and Nicola Kraus

Imagine there was never a Laguna Beach, a Newport Harbor, the shimmering Hills. Imagine that your hometown—your school—is the first place XTV descends to set up cameras.
Now imagine they've trained them on you.
When Jesse O'Rourke gets picked for a "documentary" being filmed at her school in the Hamptons she's tempted to turn down the offer. But there's a tuition check attached to being on the show, and Jesse needs the cash so she can be the first in her family to attend college. All she has to do is trade her best friend for the glam clique she's studiously avoided, her privacy for a 24/7 mike, and her sense of right and wrong for "what sells on camera." . . . At least there's one bright spot in the train wreck that is her suddenly public senior year: Jesse's crush has also made the cast.
As the producers manipulate the lives of their "characters" to heighten the drama, and Us Weekly covers become a regular occurrence for Jesse, she must struggle to remember one thing: the difference between real and the real real.

This book looks really good and is the type of book I like to read

Thanks Garden of books(for teens) for the contest that I won this from. She even sent me a little note with it.

That's all I got this week. But only getting one book allows me read to catch up on my reading pile. And the last two weeks were really good.

Come back later to my blog and I will announce a challenge Reviewabook 123 and I are hosting this summer.
