Pretty Little Liars Series by Sara Shepard

I absolutly love this series now. I am usually not a fan of the narrator changing each chapter but for some reason I thought these books were written differnt and in a that made it interesting. The A notes were great and me keep wondering who A was. I was totally shocked who A was (don't want to ruin it). I loved all the differnt plot lnes and how each characters were so unique and really fun to read about. I can't wait for Killer to come out. I would definetly check out this sereis if you like things with a touch of mystery.

Quick Question What other books like this are out there that I could read?

Happy Belated Birthday to me!!

Yesterday I turned 14! I am one of the younger reviewers but still I love it. I didn't have time yesterday I left to go shopping at 9 and didn't get back to 5 and then we went out to eat at 6 and get back 7 and then I had to go somewhere with my mom it was 9 by the time I got back. I didn't even have time to eat my birthday cake. So now I am posting this a day late.

In My Mailbox (1)

I got four books this week, well I got three yesterday because it was my birthday.
Monday
Jewels Treasured by Her Family by Julia Johnsom

Saturday
Revenge of the Homecoming Queen by Stephanie Hale
Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld
Secrets of my Hollywod Life: Paparazzi Princess by Jen Calonita

I was looking through Paparazzi Princess and on the author thing on the back flap it said the next book comes out March 2010 and on the last page of book where the writing ends it say the next book comes out in May of 2010. Also in the back they had a differnt cover for Sleepaway Girls which I wish I could get copy and can't wait to read.

I also saw My Big Nose and Other Natural Disasters at Barnes and Noble when it doesn't come out into the 16th. I almost bought it but I didn't have enough money.

Paradise Lost by Kate Brian

Paradise awaits....
Now that Cheyenne's murderer has been revealed and Reed knows the truth about who's been stalking her, she's ready to leave the heartache and turmoil of last semester behind. And what better way to recover than a five-star Caribbean vacation?
Reed is reunited with former Billings Girls Kiran and Taylor, and she and her friends take over the exclusive island. They spend their days tanning on white-sand beaches and their nights partying on sixty-foot yachts.
It's heaven on earth.
But as they raise their champagne flutes to toast their friendship, Reed worries that it's all too good to be true. Because even in paradise, the Billings Girls are never far from trouble -- and nothing's more dangerous than the calm before the storm....

I liked this book but it wasn't as good and fast paced as some of the others in the series. But I still LOVE the sereis. I loved that Kiran and Taylor were back and I like Upton but none of the other new characters like Poppy and I didn't like Amberly . I think every new book in the series has a worse cliff hanger,I really want to know who did that at the end( don't want to spoil it for others). I can't wait for Suspicion, I don't I can wait to September but I quess I have to.

Frenemies by Alexa Young

What happens when two besties become full-blown worsties?
Avalon Greene rules the fashion scene at her sunny SoCal middle school with a diamond-clad fist, calling out classmates for their fashion-do's and most unfortunate clothes-pas. She's determined to host the social event of the season—a soiree in honor of her forever-friendship with Halley! Unfortunately, Halley's new look is one thing Avalon just can't celebrate. . . .
Halley Brandon is just back from art camp and can't wait to share her funky new style with her best friend, Avalon. But when Avalon cries fashion foul, Halley realizes her best friend's true colors may clash with her own. Has their ultra-fabulous friendship finally gone out of style?
From sharing custody of their puppy, Pucci, to drawing up a list of who gets which friends, Avalon and Halley discover what happens when you battle the person who knows everything about you—and isn't afraid to use your secrets to get what she wants.
Best friends. Worst enemies. Frenemies.

I thought this book was ok. I loved the idea but I feel it wasn't pulled off very well. I felt like Halley and Avalon didn't act like eigth graders but more like high schoolers. I did like the little Fashion Snarks newspaper thing and how they pulled revenge there and the comments left on it. The only thing I really liked was the ending. This actually took me forever to read , it is just really hard to get into. But I did like the book it just donned on me that they have a good a reason for revenge. How would you feel if your best friend left you after like forever.
