I am Finally Done With Health Class!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been taking a summer school class this June and July. Well I have been taking health which is required for all freshman and I have been taking it now instead of during the school year. And I have been told we have to do so much less work then they do during hte school year. Now I have a half credit before I start even High School. Yeah. I even took my first ever final exam not that it was fun but it's still cool.

Now I have more time to read.

One problem. I am going on vacation and the week after that Swim Team starts. They have to practices a day.I think like 9-11 and 3-5:30 or something like that. And I will even less time to read.

My summer is going by so fast.

Leaving On Vacation

I will be leaving tomorrow to go vacation to Niagra Falls. We will be going through a whole bunch states not really. I think we are going states like New York,Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan I can't think of any others. I am most likely not going to have any posts since I don't know how to schedule them.(will someone please tell me how). Well wish me luck during our our very car ride. But I will be bringing a lot of books.

Question: Does anyone else always bring way to many books to read with you vacation? And you actually read a few but you bring a lot.

Waiting On Wednesday (4)

I have decided to do three books this week one that is already released (released a week ago) and two that are coming up...........and they are Coffee House Angel and The Hollow and One A Witch.

The Hollow By Jessica Verday
Comes Out September 1,2009
When Abbey's best friend, Kristen, vanishes at the bridge near Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, everyone else is all too quick to accept that Kristen is dead?and rumors fly that her death was no accident. Abbey goes through the motions of mourning her best friend, but privately, she refuses to believe that Kristen is really gone. Then she meets Caspian, the gorgeous and mysterious boy who shows up out of nowhere at Kristen's funeral, and keeps reappearing in Abbey's life. Caspian clearly has secrets of his own, but he's the only person who makes Abbey feel normal again...but also special.
Just when Abbey starts to feel that she might survive all this, she learns a secret that makes her question everything she thought she knew about her best friend. How could Kristen have kept silent about so much? And could this secret have led to her death? As Abbey struggles to understand Kristen's betrayal, she uncovers a frightening truth that nearly unravels her—one that will challenge her emerging love for Caspian, as well as her own sanity.

I love the idea of this book. I can't wait to read it and really wish I had a copy.

Once A Witch by Carolyn MacCullough
Comes Out Sepember 14 ,2009

Tamsin Greene comes from a long line of witches, and she was supposed to be one of the most Talented among them. But Tamsin's magic never showed up. Now seventeen, Tamsin attends boarding school in Manhattan, far from her family. But when a handsome young professor mistakes her for her very Talented sister, Tamsin agrees to find a lost family heirloom for him. The search—and the stranger—will prove to be more sinister than they first appeared, ultimately sending Tamsin on a treasure hunt through time that will unlock the secret of her true identity, unearth the sins of her family, and unleash a power so vengeful that it could destroy them all. This is a spellbinding display of storytelling that will exhilarate, enthrall, and thoroughly enchant.

This looks really good. And I love these types of books. I like the cover too. I wish I had a copy.

Coffee House Angel by Suzanne Selfors

Came Out July 21
When Katrina spots a homeless guy sleeping in the alley behind her grandmother’s coffee shop, she decides to leave him a cup of coffee, a bag of chocolate-covered coffee beans, and some pastries to tide him over. Little does she know that this random act of kindness is about to turn her life upside down. Because this adorable vagrant, Malcolm, is really a guardian angel on a break between missions. And he won’t leave until he can reward Katrina’s selflessness by fulfilling her deepest desire. Now if only she could decide what that might be . . .

This is another one of those books where this is the type of books I love and I love the cover it is just super cute.
I wish I had a copy.

All of these books I really want a copy of. They all look great and can't want to read to them.

I got a new bookshelf

When my grandma was at my house last month she brought me a bookshelf that used to belong to the library she works out. It was this really weird dark purple color. So finally last weekend me and my dad painted it a very light blue since it's not going in my room but a hallway and under a window it had to be light and neutral color. And today I finally made time to put put all the loose books on my floor and my immediate to read pile on it. And it almost full already. It's not the biggest bookshelf just 3 shelves if you include the bottom. But I am excited to get a new one.

Another story about bookshelves. So last year my dad made each me and my brother a bookshelf however we wanted it and would at least fit our rooms. I chose a 5 shelf one and is wide but not deep. I basically have that full well 3.5 shelves it. I have one shelf where I keep things like jewelry and other nick knacks. I am just shocked that I have like almost two full bookshelves which is little compared to some blogers but is a lot to me.

Suite Scarlett by Maureen Johnson

Scarlett Martin has grown up in a most unusual way. Her family owns the Hopewell, a small hotel in the heart of New York City. Her nineteen-year-old brother, Spencer, is an out of work actor facing a family deadline to get his career in order. Eighteen-year-old Lola has the delicate looks of a model, the practical nature of a nurse, and a wealthy society boyfriend. Eleven-year-old Marlene is the family terror with a tragic past.

When the Martins turn fifteen, they are each expected to take over the care of a suite in the once elegant, now shabby Art Deco hotel. For Scarlett’s fifteenth birthday, she gets both a room called the Empire Suite, and a permanent guest named Mrs. Amberson. Scarlett doesn’t quite know what to make of this C-list starlet, world traveler, and aspiring autobiographer who wants to take over her life. And when she meets Eric, an astonishingly gorgeous actor who has just moved to the city, her summer takes a second unexpected turn.

With Mrs. Amberson calling the shots, Spencer’s career to save, Lola’s love life to navigate around, and Marlene’s prying eyes everywhere, things won’t be easy. Before the summer is over, Scarlett will have to survive a whirlwind of thievery, Broadway glamour, romantic missteps, and theatrical deception.

The show, as they say, must always go on . . . .
Okay I have a very short story about this book. I have checked this out twice before from the library and started once and the other time returned it for some reson. And know it feel weird getting this book because I have strated it nad returned it before.
I guess I'm weird

Summer Intern by Carrie Karsoyov

To do:
Secure models for photo shoot.
Fetch dry cleaning when it arrives from Paris.
Walk big star's makeup artist's assistant's dog.
Snag invitation to tonight's hot party downtown.
I'm Kira Parker, total fashion junkie. I thought I had it made when I landed a summer internship at Skirt, the preeminent fashion magazine. Ha. Don't get me wrong—working at Skirt, and spending the summer in New York City without my parents, is amazing. But now I'm up against Daphne Hughes, daughter of the magazine's owner. She's already got the guy of my dreams and all the right connections. Now she thinks she'll get the plum position working for the editor in chief without even lifting a diamond-adorned pinky? This catwalk is primed for battle.
Review:I really enjoyed Jet Set by these authors so I thought I would try this one. I was really expecting a book full of snotty characters but Kira the main character is super relatable and is not at all snotty like some of the other characters. She was a great main character but one thing that did bother me was how she was always ready to do extra things and really seemed like a goody two shoes to me even though I know she really wanted to Geniveve's intern. The other characters were okay it had your typical gay guy, the hot guy you like but can't go out with, the snotty mean girl who thinks she is the best, and the guy you are dating who you don't really like because there is another guy you like better who you have.
The plot was kinda similar to Jet Set. They both have major twists that you never expect. I loved the plot though. It was kinda typical work at a fashion magazine book but it had things I have never seen in a book like this. So overall it was a okay book not great but not boring.
3.75 out of 5 stars
